Refund policy

At Remedio Digital SL we want you to buy with the peace of mind of knowing what happens if something goes wrong. This policy describes three distinct scenarios: (1) withdrawal within 14 days, (2) defective or non-conforming product (legal warranty), and (3) transport damage.
2.1 14 calendar-day withdrawal
Under Art. 102 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to return your purchase without stating a reason.
How to exercise withdrawal:
- Write to official@remediodigital.es stating your order number and the products you wish to return, or use the official withdrawal form (see section 2.7).
- We will provide the return address and, where applicable, a collection slip.
- Send the product within a maximum of 14 days after communicating your decision.
Condition of the returned product:
- Must be in perfect condition, unused and uninstalled (no visible mounting marks).
- Original packaging intact, with seals and labels not removed.
- Accompanied by a copy of the invoice or order number.
We may reduce the refund amount in proportion to depreciation of the good if it exceeds normal inspection handling (Art. 108.2 TRLGDCU) — for example, if you return a component with clear signs of installation.
Return shipping costs. The cost of the return shipment is borne by the Customer, unless the reason is attributable to Remedio (defective product, shipping error, transport damage). [TBD-RESTOCKING]
Refund. We will process the refund to the same payment method used, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receipt of the returned product and verification that it meets the conditions. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or evidence of its dispatch, whichever occurs first.
2.2 Products excluded from withdrawal
Under Art. 103 of RDL 1/2007, withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized (e.g. ECUs programmed with the Customer's vehicle data, parts machined to order).
- Products sealed for reasons of hygiene or safety that have been unsealed after delivery (e.g. brake fluids, coolants, oils, or batteries once the seal is broken).
- Products that by their nature cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly.
- Goods that, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other items.
In addition, Remedio does not accept withdrawal returns on the following products, which require installation or commissioning to be tested and cannot be resold as new after such use:
- Tyres with mounting or running marks.
- Electronic components (sensors, ECUs, lambda probes) that have been connected to the vehicle.
- Air, oil or fuel filters once installed.
- Brake pads and discs once mounted.
- Bulbs and lamps removed from original packaging.
These exclusions do not affect your rights in case of defective or non-conforming product (section 2.3).
2.3 Defective or non-conforming product (legal warranty)
Remedio products are covered by the statutory conformity warranty of 3 years from delivery for new goods, under Arts. 114-127 of RDL 1/2007 as amended by Law 7/2021.
During the first 2 years lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at delivery unless Remedio proves otherwise. After 2 years and up to 3, the burden of proof falls on the Customer.
Your options in case of non-conformity:
- Bringing into conformity (repair or replacement) — free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.
- If bringing into conformity is impossible, entails disproportionate inconvenience, or is not completed in a reasonable time, you may choose: - Proportional price reduction. - Contract termination (full refund).
How to claim:
- Contact official@remediodigital.es with your order number, description of the defect, clear photographs, and the invoice from the workshop that detected or attempted to install the product.
- Remedio will confirm return instructions and, where applicable, arrange collection at no cost to you.
- Once received and the defect verified, we will proceed with the corresponding option (repair, replacement, reduction, or termination).
Warranty application conditions.
- Installation must have been performed by a qualified workshop or professional. Keep the workshop invoice — we may request it.
- The warranty does not cover natural wear, misuse, accident, incorrect installation by unqualified personnel, modifications, use of the vehicle outside manufacturer specifications or on race tracks.
- Wear items (used brake pads and discs, installed filters, bulbs, tyres, oils and fluids once opened) are excluded as their wear through use does not constitute lack of conformity.

2.4 Transport damage
If the packaging shows visible damage upon receipt of the order:
- Note the incident on the carrier's delivery note before signing (damaged package, signs of impact, etc.). This step is essential for the carrier to accept the claim.
- Photograph the packaging and product as soon as possible.
- Notify us within a maximum of 24 hours at official@remediodigital.es attaching order number, photos and copy of the annotated delivery note.
- Keep the original packaging until we resolve the incident.
Without these actions within the timeframe, carriers will not process the damage claim and we will not be able to refund or replace the product under transport insurance.
Beyond 48 hours from delivery without notification from you, delivery is presumed conforming.
2.5 Incorrect order (shipping error)
If you receive a product different from what you ordered, contact us within a maximum of 14 days at official@remediodigital.es. We will arrange collection at no cost to you and send the correct product, or fully refund you if that is not possible.
2.6 Refund methods
The refund is made via the same payment method used at purchase. For card payments, the credit will appear in your account according to your bank's timeframes (typically 3-7 business days after the refund is issued). For Bizum, PayPal and Shop Pay, the refund is usually immediate after approval.
